  • Thor Sector Knee Guards

    Porter in UT

    Exactly as advertised

Kids are willing to wear them because they aren?t too bulky, and provide good protection. Shouldn?t be riding without knee protection. Fit my 7 and 11yr old great.

    A little small for me!

Overall they looked like a good value for the money but I returned them because the lower leg strap was a little to short and fit me too tight around the calf. I'm 6' 0" 210 lbs. with average build.

    Better coverage

Excellent shin guards as they give coverage above the knee and to the sides of the knees. Previous knee guards I used left the side of your knees and lower thighs exposed and that's where the majority of my bruises would be after a crash. Other's complained about comfort used on bare skin, but I use a base layer, so these are very comfortable.

    Great protection, great value.

Great value for good protection and quality. My 3 boys and I all use these. With 4 riders I'm always looking for the best bang for the buck for our MX bikes, parts and gear. I don't skimp on protective gear and with these I don't have to. We're woods riders and crash all the time. These have always provided protection and kept us going. These have held up for years too so definitely money well spent.

  • EVS Option Knee/Shin Guards

    Can't beat the price but...

For the price these are unbeatable, but don't expect them to the be the best. They're comfortable enough, but I don't "forget they are there" like some others said. The knee portion, since it doesn't have a strap, tends to want to move around (forward and backwards) while I'm riding. The bottom section tucks nicely into my boots though. Airflow is okay, nothing crazy. There's no doubt these will save my knees and shins in the event of a bad fall. Still would recommend them, but if I were to do it over I would buy more expensive ones with a third strap above the knee.

    Need covering over elastic/plastic.

Caused blisters on thighs from elastic/plastic. Should have smoother fabric.
