Great helmet for the price. Comfortable and not loud at speed. Wish it had cut outs for speakers. The drop down tinted visor is nice but will need a little lube after a little bit. I am a large size and it fits great.

Love this helmet, I have a Fly carbon fiber helmet for motocross and love it so I decided to try out a cheaper fly helmet for duel sport. Great helmet. Love Fly products.

Great helmet for the price, very comfortable on an all day ride. My only complaints are the helmet does not come with a wind block that snaps in the bottom and you can't get the tinted face shield the review video says you can.

The Bell MX-9 helmet is perfect for my needs, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I have always liked Bell helmets because I think they do a good job of offering a nice looking, comfortable, and safe helmet at a reasonable price. I am riding a dual sport bike mostly off road and to me, this helmet feels like a dirt bike helmet with a face shield. It has a nice big eye port, so I don't feel claustrophobic and have good vision. It also has pretty good ventilation keeping me cool when I am riding slower. I read some reviews that said it was louder than others. But I didn't find it to be a loud helmet by any means, even when I'm riding 60 or 70 mph. I also didn't have the wind pulling on the visor when I turn my head. Really, the helmet felt and sounded great! The one negative I have to say is that the two detents for holding the face shield open at different positions are worthless. When you open the shield to the first detent, just to get a little more ventilation, the bottom beveled edge of the shield is right in your vision. But I discovered that I could just open the shield just a little and it would stay there, so no problem. The second detent is almost all the way in the open position and doesn't make any sense to me. Most of the time I ride with the shield open or closed anyways, so not a big deal. My Cardo installed with no issue, although I wasn't sure at first. I just had to get a little forceful and push to get the clamp between the shell and the attached liner, then it went in with no problem. My head measures right near the top of a large, but I thought I would start with the large. When I first put it on I thought maybe that was going to be too tight, and it felt pretty tight in the cheek pads. But I took Chase's advice and wore the helmet inside the house for a couple of hours and it ended up feeling great! So I would say the size is pretty true. For the price, I would say this is a great helmet!
