Definitely worth it!
Works great! Light weight, easy to carry and set up. My 4yr old uses it by himself and batteries last about a month after using almost daily. It has given the kids confidence at the race to excel at their gates starts. Very pleased with the purchase so far.

Works as it is supposed to, found out my son does everything correctly when starting with the risk starting gate, he just gets nervous when there is 25 other bikes on the gate.

Must have product for anyone serious about racing
This is a must have it works very good and is very simple to use. Holeshots are the most important and overlooked aspect of training this works anywhere highly recommended

Only got to use once due to weather but so far so good. Works as advertised, should greatly improve starts. surprisingly gate stays in place very well after start.

does the starting gate rely on the electronic device and if the device fails over time could i return it and get a new on or just a re-fund? And how hard is it to move from one location to another, or in other words how portable is it?

Multiple gates can be linked and be dropped at the same time.

Yes you’ll need two gates , just like at a track.

Daniel PIt would be best if they were kept inside when not in use. The construction looks water resistant, but not water proof.
Thomas Kwill the gate still work if the electronic device fails or stops working over time, and if the gate doesn't work without the device could I return it and get a refund because of faulty equipment?
You wouldn't be able to get the gate to work without having someone or something pushing it down if the electronic device fails or stops working. However, if by any chance the electronic device fails at some point please contact us and we will get with our warranty department about it and go from there.
