  Good enough for who it's for.

  Took about a week of wearing every day to break in. Stiff flat sole is good on the bike. Not ideal for a long walk. Seems protective enough for what I do. Should be good in hot weather. I have narrow feet and stubby toes so I went down a size and it seems OK. Not comfy, but fine while riding and can get around well enough off the bike.

  Affordable boots that work for what I want

  I haven't worn boots since I was young kid. I needed them to start racing. I ordered size 13 which is my normal boot size and they fit perfect. With any other boot they are tight at first. After my first XC race I think I performed well and the boots were no problem, other than simply getting used to them in general. I will review again in sometime to see how well they hold up. For a weekend warrior I'd say you can't beat the price. I hope that is the case.
