I have used these in the summer and they are not to bad. Have brace socks that I use with them. No real complaints. Protection for the knees. Fantastic
Albert SI checked into this for you and these are sold in pairs.
Florencia BThey should fit with your current boots. They sit on the knee and do not come in contact with your boots. I highly recommend them. I haven't had another pair of braces before but I've used these about 20 different times, full day rides. They are comfortable and have been holding up well, look and work as good as new. Very good protection... I ride desert and dunes. Flew off a rocky cliff and into a canyon and walked away with no leg damage!! Great product.
Ken LTodd, I bought my braces a little over a year ago. I don’t have an ACL in my left knee...go figure. Haha. Anyways I suit up a little diff then avg person but I first pull on a pair of knee high Moose Safari riding socks, then I wear a pair of athletic soft braces from Bauerfeind on each knee. ( the extra support seems to help my left knee) . These are more compression then rigid support . Over all this I wear Troy Lee Designs 5705 Hot Weather pants. Then come the knee braces. And I have had zero chafing . I race a lot of Sprint Enduros and Harescrambles so I am on the bike for sometimes as long as 90 minutes with no problems. Could be the extra padding under all this but it seems to work. I know it sounds really hot but I ride in Texas and in the late spring and summer your sweating the minute you walk your bike outa the garage so don’t really consider that an issue. Hope this helps or at least gives you an idea on how to combat it.
Darin BYour pants should be fine with these braces. I race moto and like tighter pants and the braces have fit great never have had issues with mobility. If you still want something with some extra room I'd recommend going to your local shop trying on different pants on with the braces and seeing what works. It'd be the best way to find the right fit and then go to Rocky Mountain and order the color/style you want, amazing service and fast shipping.
Wyatt tYou definitely want to check measurements. Start by measuring from the center of your knee cap in a straight line upwards onto your thigh. Then measure around your thigh, this will provide you with the measurement needed to reference the Mobius size if chart.
Small: 16”-18”
Medium: 18”-20”
Large: 20”-22”
I absolutely love these knee braces, they are exceptionally well built and extremely functional!
Together they way approximately 5 pounds.
Florencia BWe purchased the med. So I can't say 100% but the quality and design should be the same. Most importantly you should know that we purchased ours very early on and the cable & design has been redesigned to make it more durable. My dealings with the company have been extremely positive. They have been an outstanding in a areas of customer service and warranty. We could not be happier with the company or the braces. We have other braces but none protect the knee better. They are super snug initially and should be. Give it time and they will break in and provide great support.
I hope this helps.
Size bigger, strap them tight. Based on center width of knee joint, don't want to go too small.
