Took about a week of wearing every day to break in. Stiff flat sole is good on the bike. Not ideal for a long walk. Seems protective enough for what I do. Should be good in hot weather. I have narrow feet and stubby toes so I went down a size and it seems OK. Not comfy, but fine while riding and can get around well enough off the bike.

I own a FJR1300 and a KLR650 and I was looking at a boot that could be good on both bikes. I watched youtuber Moto Giant videos on how he lost a foot and ankle in an interstate crash, and I was wanting to upgrade my street riding gear. I wear Tech 7 in my offroad riding and racing but on the street I wore a Seduci street boot. All my Alpinestars boots I have ever owned have been 11 and I wear a 10 1/2 in casual shoes. I am happy to say they work great on both bikes and is comfortable to walk in. My only complaint is in August in Georgia they are warm but so is everything.

I have high arches and all the other boots i have tried push down on the top of my foot and cause discomfort and pain. These do not and are very comfortable. The sole is a little thick and I had to adjust my shifter higher to accommodate for that. Good protection but not as snug and immobile as a motorcross boot. Very happy so far.
