Darrel KIt can be mounted in any direction as it is a sealed battery. Good luck!

Logan G.I would be happy to look into this for you. What is the year, make and model for your machine?
Kourtney B.If you have blinking lights on your vehicle, it is not your battery. It’s the ECU, or other. The battery is either good, or bad. On a 2008-2012 TE450 (Husqvarna) of the battery was bellow 7.2V, the EFI would not allow the bike to fire. So depending on the vehicle you are using this in, check voltage of battery first, then diagnose vehicle per manual.
Gary P.No, this is a maintenance free acid battery.
