A Not So Smooth Install
This is my second Tusk plow, the first was used on 2 different machines over a 13 year span, and it was flawless. I bought this based on my previous experience, however this one has left me a bit disappointed based on the install. First, the plow mount. I spent a good bit of time trying to get the left side nut plates into position before I gave up. I had to remove the left foot rest, then use an angle grinder to remove roughly 4mm of material from the floorboard supports before I could get the nut plates to fit. Next, I assembled the plow, went to install it on the machine, and no go. The ears on the plow tube's were tweaked and I had to use a 4lb hammer to adjust these before they would go into position. While I am sure that it will hold up for many years, the install left me a bit disappointed. However, as always, Rocky Mountain ATV had this to me within 3 days of placing the order.
