Florencia K.yes the black side panels and seat are made up of a tightly woven material there is stitching thru out to connect the panels. The back and small lower panels are a mesh material. Also the Tusk name is painted on one side.
Rodney MPretty much the same chair, I have had one for past year and has held up OK so far, the one I purchased had a high back on it that is different from the Joey chair. I recommend the high back one as it has an upper bar that aids in supporting the weight on the rear posts. ( I have had a different one where the poles pushed through the fabric )
RAY DThe front edge is 13-3/4" with the chair assembled on the kitchen floor. The points on the bottom of the feet are 3/4" so if the chair is in the dirt, the front edge is 13" off the ground. The center section where your butt goes would vary on how heavy you are on how much streach / give the fabric has. I'm 240 lbs and haven't bent or torn anything yet. I like how compact they are folded up, fits nicely in my Tusk hard side cases. Hope this helps.
Kirk CThe large chair features a taller back for shoulder support.
