You can use the Baja No Pinch tool, but you have to remove (or drop) the center threaded rod from the stand first, which is easy enough. The wheel would then simply sit on the stand without being secured to allow the No Pinch axle shaft to be used instead.
Bradley LNO, it does not. I have found that the Tusk tire iron shown below works good. FYI this tire stand works well if you expansion bolt it to a concrete slab, such as the garage floor. Otherwise it can be a bit top heavy to use.
ALLAN SI am really not sure if they work with street tires. I only used them with dirt bike tires and really worked well for that. Really saves my back. Maybe call tusk?
Albert LYes it will. Seems to be 15 mm.
The Stand works well. Make sure that you have a Bead Buddy too
Yes the center bolt can be pulled out however if it is pulled out I don’t think it will fit through the hub and you won’t be able to anchor the tire to the stand
Casey KI should also add you can easily remove the center rod, or lower it out of the way, watch your toes! You should have no issue with this. I've used it to change tires on my crf50 without issue.
Justin VYes that's all I use mine for is changing bibs
CHRISTOPHER VI can't answer the question about the Tusk stand as I haven't seen one in person to compare? I can say that the MSR stand is very well built and is a life saver compared to the ground or work bench. I take it with me on all of our bike trips, it has become a part of my tools in the trailer. I have purchased several Tusk items and most of the time they work just fine for the weekend warrior, neither would probably stand up in a business setting. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I would recommend getting one or the other. MM
MARK MI suppose you could take it apart like the way it was shipped to you, but it does not have any quick folding hinge gimmick.
It's a really great tire changing tool. I would say just leave it assembled in the corner.
Probably around 10-15 pounds, 4.5-6.8kgs I would say. Mine is stored away in my trailer right now otherwise I could say it for you but it’s in that area for sure.
