The R3-2 starts with high-carbon steel pins, solid bushings, solid rollers, shot peened plates, and shot peened rollers for a massive increase in overall strength and fatigue resistance. Nitrile O-rings seal all the vital surfaces and retain the vacuum injected grease to reduce wear on the pin and bushing surfaces. Add these improvements up and you have a chain with a 10% more life, 15% stronger pins and rollers, and a 7% increase in overall fatigue resistance. Want more?
