Hi William. You do not have to remove your chain. It's very easy to put on and has lasted well for me so far. I'm very please with it and would buy it again for the cost.

Yes...it fits well...we even ran a 50 tooth. It's a well made product. My son races and practices everyday...holds up well.

I no longer have the bike I installed this on but the unit is SOLID. I would expect it to fit any reasonable size rear sprocket that the bike itself can fit/is designed for. Worst case scenario you have to grind off a bit of the plastic wear guide or you keep your chain a bit longer so you axle is more rearward.

They send you everything to install it correctly. I have bought this chain guide several times and mine rubs a little as well. I’m guessing from the chain slap. But overall it works as it should for the price. They also sell replacement rub blocks for the guide.
