Perfect seal for my 2-stroke exhaust pipe and silencer
I always use a sealer when installing a pipe and silencer to eliminate mung from leaking out of exhaust joints

Great for crank cases and water pumps
Used on my 1999 KX 250 rebuild. No leaks on the crank case. If using for the water pump cover then be sure it is completely dry and let cure for 24 hours before adding coolant. If you don't it will leak. Using this on water pumps is a little trickier but possible.

Always nice to have around in the toolbox. Never know when that new gasket might need just a little help or a non important gasket is too expensive to bother replacing

As good or better than OEM sealants
I used to make certain to use Hondabond on Hondas and Yamabond on Yamahas, but let's be honest... they don't make their own chemicals. I've used Permatex Moto Seal on several engine rebuilds now and will continue to do so.

I wanted to give this 0. This stuff is solvent based - not silicone based. On contact with oil it mixes in and will end up in your screens and filters. LIke block them. Like seize your engine. Neither is it up to being covered in gas - mixes in with that too. It even mixed in with coolant! Generally, you want silicone based gasket maker or flange sealant - depending on where you are going to use it. Do your research... I would never again use this product for the uses it details as being suitable for.

Permatex motoseal is one of the few gasket sealants actually rated for gasoline contact. I use this in and around the airbox or carb where gas is nearby.

on MX Bikes this is quite simply the best RTV Type sealant I've ever used BAR NONE! I Highly Recommend it to my fellow Riders & Racers! Works great on anything with 2 wheels Heck with 4 wheels as well for that matter.
