  Metzler Tourance on Africa Twin

  First time with a Metzler Tourance tire. Mounted one on the front wheel of my '17 Africa Twin street wheels. Easily balanced. The Tourance works pretty good and have about 1,200 miles on it now. Not much for gravel roads around here; so, can't really comment about that. Really though, it's a street tire with grooves that should work well in rain.

  Great tire, great value

  Great grip, no surprises, no bad habits. Easy turn-in with a sporty profile. Wearing well (evenly), but I've only got 2K miles on them so far, so I can't give a mileage estimate. I'll be buying the front to match. I'm running 36-37 psi in the rear, depending on what's in my luggage. I've been caught out in the wet and had no issues.

  Kind of expensive for the performance I thought.

  When brand new tires worked great but as they wore I was not so impressed , not that I had anything bad happen just didn't instill confidence as they wore and wet weather performance was ok, but nothing to brag about.

  Great tires

  I've ran multiple sets of these tires on my 2000 BMW R1100R. Been averaging around 6,000 miles out of the rear. They handle excellent in the twisties and wear evenly. I do a lot of long distance touring and ride aggressively. I recommend this tire.
