  The toecaps fit perfectly. They fit right on as the old ones. They are secured with little screws so be careful when removing the old ones not to strip out hole.

  These are 100% the same soles and even other boot repair places will use these in place of Fox/Alpinestars/etc soles when replacing soles. I get a lot of wear out of these. They are not the simplest to install you should have a heat gun to delaminate the old glue and then you need to be somewhat competent to glue to new soles. Trimming the excess off the edges will also require a steady hand and a good tool to cut the thick rubber or a machine.
